For Spring 2023, we are excited to announce that we are expanding our “no-cost” diagnostic testing lineup to include multiple new tests across three categories: wellness panels, drug abuse screening, and therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM). These categories of tests help analyze the health and wellness of patients. As with our current COVID-19, RSV, and Influenza testing, our future lab tests will also be no-cost with any insurance. In short, we offer “free” lab tests with any insurance plan.
Wellness Panels: Snapshots of Patient Health
Wellness Panels include a wide range of tests which provide valuable insights into each person’s health and well-being. Wellness panels help patients, parents, doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, public safety staff, schools, hospitals, nursing homes, rehab centers, and other concerned parties identify symptoms of serious health or behavioral issues. My Care Labs can now help doctors and patients diagnose serious conditions including heart disease, diabetes, drug abuse, chronic illness, and in the future, cancer. Our laboratory will greatly aid practitioners and patients with early detection of chronic or acute illness. Armed with facts about each patient’s individual body chemistry readings, doctors inside and outside our laboratory will be able to provide better educated recommendations for preventive or restorative care. My Care Labs’ Wellness Panels will empower patients and their caregivers to start taking control of their health and living their best lives.
Drug Screening
In addition to our new Wellness Panels, we will also begin offering Drug Screening services. Our Drug Screening tests will detect the presence of drugs in each patient’s body. Drug, or toxicology, screening looks at the two opposing uses of drugs: (1) screening for negative drug mis-use, recreation, or abuse by anyone in the workplace, at school, in rehab care centers, jails, or hospitals, and (2) positive therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM), which measures the apparent beneficial dosage of pharmaceutical chemicals in each patient’s body.
Toxicology (drug) screening provides a snapshot of each patient for himself or herself, along with his/her caregiver, guardian, employer, healthcare provider, legal and insurance professionals, and other interested parties. With My Care Labs’ new up-to-date testing technology and fast turnaround times, we help our patients ensure their bodily health and safety.
